FAQ's

Slow travel India emphasizes depth over distance, unhurried immersion in culture, nature, and community instead of rushed sightseeing. Nroutes curates small-group journeys like Himalayan Village Vacation (5 days) and Kinnaur-Spiti road trips (12 days) with built-in pauses, storytelling circles, and local homestays for meaningful connection.
All our trips offer vegetarian meals, and we can usually accommodate Jain or vegan preferences if informed in advance. We also encourage travellers to experience local cuisine and traditional meals wherever possible.
We intentionally keep our journeys small and intimate, usually between 5-7 families depending on the trip. This allows us to maintain meaningful connections, flexibility, and a more personal experience.
Most Nroutes journeys have limited seats and small groups. We recommend booking at least 4–8 weeks in advance to secure your place.
Activities often include nature trails, village interactions, cultural workshops, storytelling circles, meditation sessions, wildlife experiences, and local food experiences.
Community travel focuses on building meaningful relationships between travellers and local communities. Nroutes journeys often include shared meals with locals, artisan workshops, and conversations that help travellers understand a place more deeply.
